Cookie Policy
What cookies are, which ones Roomiora uses, and how you're in control.
Last updated: September 29, 2026What Are Cookies?
Cookies are tiny text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help sites remember you, understand how they're used, and (for free sites like ours) show relevant ads. They can't harm your device, and they never contain anything like passwords.
How Roomiora Uses Cookies
| Type | What for | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Things the site needs to function | Security, load balancing, remembering cookie consent |
| Preferences | Remembering your choices | Newsletter signup state |
| Analytics | Understanding readership in aggregate | Which articles are most read (e.g. Google Analytics) |
| Advertising | Showing relevant ads that keep the site free | Ad partner cookies (e.g. Google AdSense) |
Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies are set by services we use — analytics providers and advertising partners. These third parties have their own cookie policies, and we don't control their cookies directly. Our Privacy Policy lists the main services involved.
Managing & Disabling Cookies
You're in charge. You can:
- Delete cookies anytime through your browser settings.
- Block cookies entirely or per-site — in Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge this lives under Settings → Privacy.
- Use private/incognito mode to browse without storing cookies.
Note: blocking essential cookies may make parts of the site behave oddly, but you'll still be able to read everything.
Changes to This Policy
If we change how we use cookies, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
